Frequently asked questions
What is silk?
Silk is a completely natural fabric made from protein fibers! The best known silk in the world is mulbery silk, which is what we use for our products.
Our fabric is made from 100% pure mulberry silk and is also a 22 momme thickness. Silk fabric is known for its incredibly soft, shiny and smooth qualities, our fabric is also the best thickness to help your silk last you a long time!
Why is a silk pillowcase better than other fabrics? Such as cotton or satin?
Silk has a well known shine and softness that also makes it incredibly soft on the skin! Silk allows your skin and hair to glide along the fabric, unlike other fabrics. We use non-toxic dye and the fabric is 100% natural...that is why silk is so amazing!
You will notice your delicate skin won't be left with sleep creases and you will avoid pre-mature skin stretching as you sleep. Silk pillowcases and hair accessories won't cause hair breakage and will leave you without bed head when you wake up.

A 22 momme pillowcase has a thread count of 600+! A high momme, like what we use, has a very durable and quality weave. 22 momme silk fabric is the perfect durablility to ensure your pillowcase lasts a long time, but it is also still lightweight and silky smooth.
